Where to Watch Sports in Philly – Part 2 (Places to go)

Since there are many places in the Philadelphia area to enjoy your favorite Philly sports teams, we couldn’t fit them all on one list.

To cap off our previous recommendations, here is another list of Philly’s top sports bars to enjoy a pint with friends and catch the local sports teams do their thing.

Irish Pub

Located at 1123 Walnut St and 2007 Walnut St, this Irish Pub is the perfect location to grab a pint and enjoy some delicious eats. Originally started in Atlantic City along the Boardwalk, Irish Pub has entertained many famous people, from Joe DiMaggio to Jim Belushi.

The Irish Pub is a hit in Philly, being visited by everyone from young urban professionals to athletes and actors. Irish Pub is also one of the most charitable locations in the country, and they even have their own Irish Pub Children’s Foundation, which organizes the annual Irish Pub Tour de Shore – a bike-ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City- which raises money for local children affiliated charities.

Fun fact about the Irish Pub, it’s location was used for scenes from Rocky Balboa, Phily’s most famous movie series.

Tavern on Broad

Beer, burgers and sports sounds like the perfect combination. In fact, at Tavern on Broad, that’s the best combination. Located at 200 S Broad St, this Philly hangout features drink specials and dollar dogs during that evenings game(s).

With 34 HDTV’s there isn’t a bad seat in the house. And with a lounge like atmosphere, this is one bar where you can truly feel like you’re in the comforts of home.

Misconduct Tavern

1511 Locust St is the home to one of the top sports bars in all of Philly. Featuring upscale pub food and an extensive beer list to go along with plenty of televisions, Misconduct Tavern is the place to be on game day.

A nautical theme is felt throughout this locale, with a shipshape door and giant sails over the bar. You get the feeling on being on the seven seas without leaving dry land. And with daily specials and a top notch happy hour, this is one place you’ll need to go and watch a game.

O’Neals Pub

South St is known for its shopping, food and music. But just a few steps away is 3rd St, where visitors can find O’Neals Pub, located at 611 S 3rd St. O’Neals features taps flowing with area microbrews and satellite TV featuring sports from around the world for your enjoyment.

Started over 35 years ago, O’Neals is the longest running, family owned and operated Irish Pub in the area. They have been recognized as South Streets “Beer Authority” featuring only the best Belgian, European and American Microbrews.

Stop in if you’re in the area and take a load off while watching your favorite sports teams. There isn’t a bad seat in the house.

Ladder 15

Once upon a time, Ladder 15 was a firehouse, now it’s a spacious sports bar located at 1528 Sansom Street, in the heart of Rittenhouse Square.

Featuring 35-foot ceilings and a unique mixture of stone walls, steel railings, beautiful mahogany and two fireplaces, Ladder 15 combines the look of warmth and comfortable with the cool industrial feeling.

With a rotating list of local and specialty drafts and a menu featuring Korean tacos and their own twist on the Philly classic, an oxtail cheesesteak. Ladder 15 is guaranteed to leave you a lasting impression during your stay in the area.

And while there are many more places that will feature Philly’s sports teams in the locations, each with their own special twist to make your game day more enjoyable, this is a list of the places we believe you should absolutely try while in the area. You won’t leave disappointed.

Clients Testimonials

Check out what our clients have to say about their experience with us.

We have been using this service for years and have never had a bad experience. I have recommended this company to many friends and colleagues.

John O.

My company had an international artist picked up at JFK and dropped off in Philadelphia, and the artist had the best time. The driver kept in touch with me throughout the day, so we could plan for arrival, and our artist had the most wonderful experience with the driver. That’s really astounding considering our artist had just gotten off a red-eye from across the world. Thank you so very much!

Meredith S.
