But what we locals know is, if you want the REAL, the genuine, the pièce de résistance of Philly Cheese Steak, you have to come to Philadelphia – period. We take our Philly Cheese Steak very seriously, and we KNOW the difference between the real thing and a wanna-be imitation, (I mean c’monnn… our city’s name is right in the title… that should tell you something!)
