This Susquehanna Bank Center was opened in 1995 as the Blockbuster-Sony Music Entertainment Centre, then in 2001 became the Tweeter Center at the Waterfront and finally in 2008, had its naming rights purchased by the Susquehanna Bank Center.
This facility is a Year-Round entertainment center that has the capacity to hold 25,000 people in this outdoor amphitheater. The Susquehanna Bank Center also features humongous video screens and computerized sound enhancement that makes all events held there that much better.
In the fall and winter months, the Susquehanna Bank Center converts to a fully enclosed, climate-controlled flexible-capacity theater for up to 7,000 people. There is a clear view of the Philadelphia skyline, the Delaware River and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and it is adjacent to the Battleship New Jersey New Museum and Memorial, Wiggins Park and the Adventure Aquarium.
