Top 15 Lunch Spots in Philly

It doesn’t matter if I am planning a business trip or a vacation; I always research the best places to eat in that city.

Why not take advantage of the delicious, distinctive and diverse options available where you are visiting? America has the unique privilege to offer a copious variety of food styles depending on the region you are visiting. Whether it is chicken and waffles in the Georgia, clam chowder in Maine, Texas Tex-Mex, meat and potatoes in Nebraska, Wisconsin cheese curds, kale salad in California or a cheese steak in Pennsylvania, you are likely in for a treat when you indulge in the well-known specialty for that area.

Philadelphia, like many other major cities in America, is fortunate enough to offer more than just it’s famous cheese steak (which I will explore more in the list below). Philly hosts an impressive section of high end chefs and global cuisines, many of which are detailed in the top 20 bulleted list below.
These 20 restaurants are consistently given the best ratings among patrons and food critics alike.

We have done the research, so all you need to do when picking the perfect lunch spot during your next business trip to Philadelphia is; decide a cuisine, set a budget and choose an area. Below we outline estimated cost per plate with 1-5 dollar signs ($), we provide the type of cuisine, address of the establishment, a review pulled from a satisfied customer on Yelp and our summary of the food and atmosphere as well as any important notes. Enjoy!

⇒  I’m a fan of both Geno’s and Pat’s. It just depends on what kind of day I’m having, sometimes it is hard to choose!

•  The first thing people tend to ask visitors or residents of Philadelphia is the age-old question, “Pat’s or Geno’s?”. These two local staples dish out a cheesesteak you’ll never forget.

•  51 N. 12th St., Philadelphia, PA 19107
