We’re always on the lookout for great activities and events in the Philadelphia area, and during our travels throughout the city, our Philadelphia Limo Services passengers are kind enough to share some of their favorites – so we’re happy to pass along some of those great recommendations to you.
’s new Philadelphia location is an immense 93,000 square foot building, with a full 12,000 square feet dedicated to the exhibition of famous works by artists such as Matisse, Renoir, Picasso, Manet , Degas, Cézanne and Titian, to name a few. Also included are a 5,000 square foot special exhibition gallery, two in-gallery classrooms, a 150-seat auditorium, seminar venues and an extensive art library. This beautiful location is the place to be for art, education and fine dining.
The Philadelphia location resides on a 4.5-acre site in the heart of downtown Philadelphia’s cultural corridor; a component of Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. The impressive 2-story limestone exterior building includes a 50-seat café with outdoor dining, indoor and outdoor gardens, and a breathtaking glass canopy that glows at night.
And here’s a real gem we recently heard about – a special exhibition at the Barnes Foundation that you won’t want to miss if you’re an art lover in the Philadelphia area…
May 4th through September 2, 2013 – The Barnes Foundation is celebrating its 1st anniversary of its location on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway with this brilliant larger-than-life exhibition of works by renowned artist Ellsworth Kelly, a 20th- and 21st-century American painter, sculptor and printmaker whose work has been prominently displayed at prestigious galleries around the world, including:
Kelly’s abstract Barnes Totem already stands an impressive 40 feet high in front of a beautiful reflecting pool on the north side of the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. For this latest exhibition, the Foundation’s Aileen and Brian Roberts Gallery will showcase Kelly’s works focusing on the intersection of art and architecture; color and form; figure and ground.
The highlighting centerpiece of the exhibit will be the 64-ft aluminum panel Sculpture for a Large Wall, which has been on display at New York’s Museum of Modern Art since 1998, where it was moved during renovation of the Philadelphia Transportation Building. Join us in May when we welcome this amazing display back home to Philadelphia!

My company had an international artist picked up at JFK and dropped off in Philadelphia, and the artist had the best time. The driver kept in touch with me throughout the day, so we could plan for arrival, and our artist had the most wonderful experience with the driver. That’s really astounding considering our artist had just gotten off a red-eye from across the world. Thank you so very much!
