After wrapping up the North American tour in Philly, The Rolling Stones return to the U.K. to headline for the first time at the the sold-out Glastonbury Festival on June 29th. Next, they return to Hyde Park nearly 44 years to the day after the first Rolling Stones performance at this venue.

While these are relatively few tour dates for a band whose popularity hasn’t waned in 50 years, Keither Richards, the band’s lead guitarist, notes that he and his bandmates aren’t ruling out the possibility of adding more dates as the tour progresses. “We just said, ‘Let’s do these five shows before Christmas and see how it goes and see if we enjoy it, see if the audience seems to have a good time, and if that works, then we’ll try to see if we’ll do more,’” he said in an interview on Thursday, April 4th. “We still wanted to keep it kind of limited. We didn’t want to have that yawning (tour) of hundreds of shows lined up for the next 18 months. I just thought it would be good if we booked a small tour, and then, you know, if we want to do more, we’ll do more.”

He added, “The band wants to pace themselves, but at the same time … I guess what’s been announced is the bare-bones and we will play it by ear from there.”

Regardless of how many additional dates may be added to the 50 and Counting North American tour, Philadelphia will be rockin’ the night away with The Rolling Stones at Wells Fargo Center, with our venue being officially slated for June 18th.

But ticket pricing is not for the faint of heart — diehard Rolling Stones fans can expect to pay anywhere from $450 to $6500 for for what could be one of the last opportunities to witness these legends of rock royalty live in action… and even at those prices, the event will undoubtedly sell out. If you’re planning to get in on this piece of rock and roll history, you’ll need to scoop up your tickets fast.

Here are a few resources for buying Rolling Stones tickets online:

We Philadelphians love our rock n’ roll… and we are proud to welcome a visit by one of the greatest bands in rock history. We know that frontman Mick Jagger and bandmates Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood will put on a hell of a great show at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. And as an added bonus, former band member Mick Taylor will be accompanying the band as their special guest throughout the tour. This will be a show to remember!

So grab your tickets, and while you’re at it, have you planned how you’re going to get there? We have just the solution for you if you’re not looking forward to the hassles of being stuck in hours of traffic, fighting your way to a parking spot, and working your way through throngs of rock fans to get to the venue entrance. This event will be a big deal, so why not top off the experience by riding your way through the hoarde in style and comfort, taking in the experience without having to worry about watching for cars and concert-goers?

If you want to make the Rolling Stones upcoming show at Wells Fargo Center your ultimate concert experience, you can get a great discount on Philadelphia car, van or SUV services to drive you to and from the event — and do it up right! My company had an international artist picked up at JFK and dropped off in Philadelphia, and the artist had the best time. The driver kept in touch with me throughout the day, so we could plan for arrival, and our artist had the most wonderful experience with the driver. That’s really astounding considering our artist had just gotten off a red-eye from across the world. Thank you so very much!
