We will miss Davy Jones, while being grateful for those icons of our youth who still fill our ears, hearts and souls with music we remember. Whether you live in Philadelphia, New York City or Baltimore, it’s well sorth taking the ride up to Newark, NJ to see “The Boss” and get a dose of your memories!
So much changes over time. It seems, one minute you’re fresh out of high school, dating and trying to figure out your future, possibly choosing colleges, and the next thing you know, you’ve joined the ranks of the working adults with kids, homes, SUVs, mortgages and then in another blink of an eye – grandkids and retirement! Whoosh – and on life goes.
In each generation music has defined and portrayed much of what was really going on in the American culture and in the hearts and minds of the young people who created it, embraced it and made it their own.
Most people would agree that their memories become more valuable the older one gets. Perhaps that is why the death of a music icon hits home. Springstein is still very much alive and still helping us create memories when he graces the stage at The Prudential Center in downtown Newark, NJ on May 2, 2012.
Opened in October of 2007, the Prudential Center was created as part of a regeneration of downtown Newark, where the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the Newark Symphony, and the Riverfront Stadium make Newark a major hub of events not to be missed!
Just as downtown Newark has gotten a major “face lift,” Boomers will feel younger just being in the audience of a Springstein concert. Though you won’t necessarily lose your wrinkles, you may just be able to forget them for a while. Memories never die. Think about where you were when you first heard Born in the USA, or, Born to Run and so many other songs “The Boss” has graced us with. Having won 21 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and an Academy Award, Springstein is considered by many to be one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century by many. He was ranked 23rd Greatest Artist of all time by Rolling Stone in 2004.
If you decide to fly in buy tickets and make plans early. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band may sell out! The Boss’ music may not make you younger, but it sure will bring your memories of youth back and make your present a whole lot nicer.
Check out what our clients have to say about their experience with us.
Our driver arrived a few minutes early, was professional, courteous and got us to the airport for our early morning flight without any problem! The car was immaculate and comfortable. I especially liked the 24 hour and 2 hour trip notification that was sent via email. It was reassuring to know they were following up. I highly recommend Corporate Sedan for any transportation needs!

Great customer service- tracking my flight, noting it was going to land 40 minutes early…and making the adjustment so someone was there to meet me at the airport early! Also, receiving a confirmation email 24 hours prior was reassuring as well. Thank you!!
