THE BIOPHYSICAL SOCIETY: this year Philadelphia will hold the 57th annual meeting on February 2nd through the 6th. The Biophysical Society was established in 1957. The purpose of the Biophysical Society was to encourage development and dissemination of knowledge in the world of biophysics. There are now more than 9000 members in the society at work in government agencies industry and academics throughout the world. The Biophysical Society offers a Biophysical Journal 2 times each month to all of its members. Membership is open to scientists who share that stated purpose of the society and you have research pickle experience educational experience or biophysics in an aligned scientific field.

The Philadelphia Home Show: the upcoming Philadelphia home show will once again be at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. It will be held between February 2 to the 10th. The Philadelphia Home Show is always a success in Philadelphia and attracts people from around the world. This year Jason Cameron, the host Desperate Landscapes and Man Case on the do-it-yourself channel. You will also see Mark Brunetz, in any winning host on the style network’s show Clean House. How about seeing Debbie Lillard from A&E’s Horders and HDTV’s Mission? When you get into the Pennsylvania Convention Center, you will be able to take part in many different exhibits like Appliances, Construction and Renovation, Remodeling, Flooring, Painting, Contractors. There will also be exhibits for food and beverage, Home Decor Art, Interior Design, Home Exteriors, Recreation, Pool and Spa. Exhibits will also include Kitchen and Bath, Garage and Automotive and of course Windows, Window Coverings and Doors.
