It’s time once again for an annual favorite in the Philadelphia area: the “The Best of Philly” Awards. This special feature provided by Philadelphia Magazine allows readers to vote on a wide variety of local products, services, stores, shops, community features and doctors, and the highly-anticipated 50 best restaurants.
Once the contenders are narrowed down to finalists, Philadelphia celebrates with a huge party in Dilworth Park, where visitors can sample food from Philly’s best restaurants, party to the sounds of live local entertainment and enjoy some of Philadelphia’s finest activities, all in celebration of local traditions and business establishments.
The party kicks off by the beautiful Dilworth Park Fountain, which is an impressive 185/60 feet of invigorating water fun. A thin layer of water that covers the fountain area is a particular splash with the kids, while visitors of all ages revel in the refreshing water spouts that ‘dance’ 3 feet high throughout the fountain space.
