At Corporate Sedan Limo, Christmas is one of the best and busiest times of the year. We spend this Holiday season chauffeuring our customers around the State of Pennsylvania. From Christmas parties to airports for people visiting their families.
But most of all, we like to show people the magic of Pennsylvania at Christmas, so we have made a list of the best festive light shows and events around the State.
Christmas Village in Philadelphia
Being grateful to Pennsylvania’s rich German heritage there are lots of Christkindlmarkts, traditional German Christmas markets, throughout the state. None of which are more impressive than the Christmas Village in Philadelphia’s Love Park. With over 60 vendors in this small park near City hall, it really captures the spirit and vibe of a German Christmas market.
Dickens of a Christmas
There are a few cities more charming than the city of Wellsboro in North Central Pennsylvania. During one weekend each year, this beautiful area becomes a Victorian village for Christmas Dickens. Along the streets of downtown Wellesborough, costumed actors and vendors bring this era to life with plays, carols, and period treats.
Koziar’s Christmas Village
Located near Reading, Koziar’s Christmas Village has been a holiday tradition for nearly 70 years. With nearly half a million lamps, Koziar illuminates farmland in Berks County with one of the best vacation destinations in the state. The spectrum ranges from classic to whimsical and includes Santa visits, model rail and festivities.
A Longwood Christmas
Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square is one of Pennsylvania's most beautiful parks. However, it really comes alive during the holiday season when it is decorated for Christmas. Enjoy Christmas trees decorated with flowing flowers and fountains, and bright lights along the trails of this famous botanical garden.
As for Christmas markets in a small town, there's no better place in Pennsylvania than Mifflinburg. The market began in 1988 and is the oldest outdoor Christmas market in the United States. Today, the event is dominated by much of downtown Mifflinburg and features many authentic details not normally found in North American Christmas markets.
Christmas Candylane in Herhseypark
Christmas Candylane in Hersheypark has become a tradition for many in the region, and it is easy to discover why. Hershey Park is one of the best amusement parks in the country, it makes stops for your holidays, where more than 4 million lights are illuminated, there are performances and shows even Santa is invited. This year, the park opens up many more excursions than in the past, making it a more exciting tourist destination.
Christmas Lightshow with the Wanamaker Organ
Located in Center City Macy's in Philadelphia, Wanamaker Organ is the world's largest functioning pipe organ and it's a pleasure to listen to at any time of year. However, when accompanied by the Christmas light show, it's more exciting. Julie Andrews' light show hasn't changed much since it was introduced in 1956, but that's part of the magic and tradition.
