In a recent blog post by “Car & Driver“, we have learned that the final Lincoln Town Car has rolled off the assembly line in August. This car has been a major staple in limousine service including airport transportation for many years. But there is no need for car service patrons or limousine service operators to be very concerned as Lincoln has provided an outstanding solution. It’s the new Lincoln MKT Town Car created for limousine service and other private airport transportation.

This new vehicle addresses many of the needed requirements for limousine service providers and their passengers. This limousine was uncovered at the 2011 Limousine, Charter & Tour Show. This long overdue (in our own opinion) release will provide the limousine or car service passenger these new features:

• More room for passengers
• More room for luggage
• Front or all wheel drive performance
• 2.0 or 3.7 liter engine with Eco-Boost for better economy
• More horsepower: from 270 to 300
• Reclining seats
• USB port
• 110 volt outlet
• Audio options controlled from the rear seat
• Wi-Fi capability

This new limousine service solution won’t be available until next spring and obviously more details will be released between now and then so stay tuned.

This is actually a major step forward for you, the business traveler or the corporate travel planner. It gives you more comfort and reliability and in the executive travel business, this is an important element.
