Combat Veterans Return to Philadelphia - Help is At Hand!
Combat Veterans return to Philadelphia, facing big challenges in making the transition into civilian life.

If you, or someone you love are affected, you already know that with this economy and the unemployment rate, veterans are returning to great frustration in being able to support themselves and their families. But there are other issues they face on top of the employment challenges that must be considered. These issues span the gamut from practical to physical, as well as emotional and mental. Combat veterans return to Philadelphia, and to "Every City, USA" to face themselves and their families as different people.
The ravages of their military service, by necessity, changes a person's perspective on almost every aspect of life. Having possibly seen and experienced first hand, what no American civilian would ever want to, Combat veterans return to Philadelphia and our Country having to redefine who they are, how they want to live and just how to go about doing so.

Some do so having lost limbs, nursing wounds and experiencing medical concerns that overwhelm them. Our combat veterans need all the support we can give them for any and all of their challenges. Combat veterans...
…may have unusal medical symptoms.
…may have sleep challenges and flashbacks.
…have feel lost, depressed, or overwhelmed.
...may need retraining into another field of work
…must now bridge gaps in relationships due to the long separation.
…may be suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, which causes a variety of mental/emotional stressors and challenges they, or their families may not even be aware of.
...may have developed an addiction of some kind to cope with their stress.
Here in the Philadelphia area are a number of resources to help our veterans, and if you need assistance, these entities will most likely either provide the service, or will be able to point you in the right direction.
